Who are the Beavers?

Beavers are young people, aged 6 to 8, who:

Master new skills and try new things, Have fun and go on adventures, Make friends, Are curious about the world around them, Help others and make a difference, on their own doorsteps and beyond

Every week, they gather in groups called Beaver Colonies to hop, skip and jump their way through lots of different games and activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.​​​​​

​Hey there! Welcome to the Beavers! Your child will have a blast with fun activities like games, arts crafts, campfire songs, and trips around town. They'll also get to join in on sports events and a cool sleep to kick off their camping adventures. If this sounds like something your kid would love send us a email to chat with us about joining the Beavers and making their promise​

Who are the Cubs?

Cubs are young people aged 8 to 10½ who: master new skills and try new things, have fun and go on adventures, make friends, are curious about the world around them, help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond. Every week, they gather in groups called Cub Packs to take part in lots of interesting and challenging activities – achieving anything they set their minds to, and having lots of fun along the way.

Welcome to Cubs, where you learn by and having fun. You’ll pick up cool skills like cooking a yummy meal and giving first aid, plus you’ll get to dive into hobbies and prep for your future job. But the best part? You’ll build character skills that boost confidence and happiness, like being honest and knowing when to take charge. So, ready to try new things and enjoy the ride!

Who are the Scouts?

Scouts are a go-getting group of young people aged 10 ½ to 14 who:  Master new skills and try new things, make new friends, have fun and go on adventures, at home and abroad, explore the world around them help others and make a difference, in their own communities and beyond. Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Scout Troops to conquer the small task of changing the world.

From outdoor adventures to community service, every experience helps grow and prepare for the future. You’ll also learn the importance of teamwork, responsibility, and leadership. Get ready to explore learn, and make lasting memories with us!

Who are the Explorers?

Explorers are a go-getting group of young people aged 14 to 18. Together, they make up the fifth section of the Scouts.

Week in and week out, they gather in groups called Units to try new things, make new friends and conquer the small task of changing the world.

Welcome to the Explorer Unit, where learning and enjoyment go hand in hand! Here, you'll gain valuable skills like cooking tasty meals and providing first aid, while also exploring hobbies and preparing for your future career. The best part? You'll cultivate character traits that enhance your confidence and well-being, such as integrity and leadership. Are you ready to discover new experiences and make the most of your journey?

Join us in our unit as we embark on an exciting journey towards achieving the Duke of Edinburgh Award and the King's Scout Award. Together, we will develop essential skills, participate in adventurous activities, and make lasting memories. Let's challenge ourselves, support one another, and work towards these prestigious accolades!
